Welcome to Eventopia ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Eventopia website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Using Eventopia

2.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Services, you may need to register for an account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up-to-date.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Event Creation and Ticket Sales

3.1 For Event Organizers

As an event organizer, you are responsible for the accuracy of your event listings, including event details, ticket availability, and pricing. You agree not to create events that are illegal, harmful, or violate these Terms.

3.2 Fees and Payments

Eventopia charges a service fee of 5% on ticket sales. This fee helps us maintain and improve our platform. Payments are processed securely, and funds (minus our service fee) will be available to event organizers according to our payment schedule.

3.3 Refunds and Cancellations

Event organizers are responsible for setting their own refund and cancellation policies, which must be clearly stated on the event page. Eventopia reserves the right to issue refunds to attendees in certain circumstances, such as event cancellations.

4. User Content

Our Services allow you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post on or through the Services, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit or upload any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other harmful or destructive code
• Conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities
• Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services

6. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Eventopia and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Eventopia, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
